FireCurtain Rolling Counter Shutters
Raynor FireCurtain fire-rated rolling counter shutters are the standard for facilities that require a listed fire counter shutter in a rated firewall. Provided with fusible links that automatically release to close the door at 165°F, the shutter can also be triggered by smoke and heat detectors, a building’s alarm system, or LM21 fail-safe release devices.

Fire Approval Ratings – FireCurtain Approvals
All FireCurtain counter shutters comply with Underwriters Laboratories (UL and C-UL) and CSFM requirements for three-hour fire ratings. Optional Factory Mutual (FM) approvals are also available.

Fusible Link
Automatic door closure is initiated by one of three fusible links that melt at 165° Fahrenheit
Counterbalance System
A torsion-spring-operated system, enclosed in a structural steel barrel, effectively counterbalances the door for a minimum of 7,500 cycles.
Bottom Bar
Curtain bottoms are constructed of steel, aluminum, or stainless steel with a foam edge to protect the sill.
Guides and End Locks
Guides are constructed of fabricated painted steel or stainless steel. Stamped steel end locks secure the curtain.
Curtain
All curtains are constructed from heavy-duty, 22-gauge steel or stainless steel flat slats.
Curtain Hood*
FireCurtain hoods are square, constructed of 24-gauge steel (shown) or stainless steel, and designed for maximum structural rigidity.
Centrifugal Governor
Incorporates corrosion-resistant components to assure a smooth, controlled descent. Protected by a head plate cover.
Model Options and Upgrades
Locks
In applications where control and access are important, choose from a variety of locking options to help keep your building secure. Locks come in either cylinder or slide-bolt (shown) variations. Slide-bolt locks are standard for push-up operation.
Smoke Control
A guide with a brush seal (shown) and header seal reduces smoke damage.
Integral Frame Options
Slip-in Style Frames
The slip-in style frames are a sleek and easy solution for your existing walls. Integral frame counter shutters provide maximum strength and security with metal frames, shutters, and sills that are factory-assembled as a complete unit.

FireCurtain Warranty
Curtain:
Raynor warrants the curtain and its component parts for one (1) year against defects in material and workmanship.
Hardware & Spring Components:
Raynor warrants all hardware and spring components against defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year.
Under the terms of this limited warranty, for any door components that are found to be defective upon inspection by authorized Raynor personnel, Raynor will, at its option, repair or replace the defective door components. Labor charges for installations or repairs shall be the responsibility of the consumer and must be performed by a qualified installer. The warranty applies only to doors that are professionally installed by a qualified installer.
The warranty extends only to the original purchaser and the warranty is not transferable.
This warranty does not apply to any damage or deterioration caused by abuse, applied paint failure or failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.
Raynor shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages.
ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Claims for defects in material and workmanship covered by this warranty shall be made in writing with proof of purchase to the dealer from whom the product was purchased or call Raynor at 1-800-4-RAYNOR within the warranty period. Raynor may choose to have the product returned for inspection.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights, which may vary from state to state.
